The skin is the largest organ in the body which makes it vulnerable to various diseases. Since the skin has multiple layers, it ensures that the internal organs are protected from exposure to harm. The skin diseases may occur as a result of exposure to viruses, bacteria, genes, allergens and the environment among others. The main factors contributing to skin diseases include physical health, diet, age, use of certain beauty products, blood impurities among others.
The symptoms of dermatitis include itchy skin and inflammation. Some people experience skin redness and blisters may also occur. This type of disease is caused by allergic reactions when one is exposed to certain allergens. The main allergen is food like eating eggs may cause dermatitis in some people. This may be treated or avoided by avoiding exposure to the sun especially between ten in the morning and two in the afternoon. One should also wear a sunscreen when they know they will be exposed to the sun but one may also wear a sunscreen even on cloudy days.
This is a disease which causes inflammation of the skin which also affects the subcutaneous tissues of the skin. As a result, the skin losses its smoothness making it look like it has been wounded. Cellulitis is caused mainly by dehydration, toxins in the body, obesity and also hormonal imbalance in the body. Cellulitis may cause skin cancer.
One should ensure that they eat a healthy diet which consists of fresh fruits and vegetables. They play a major role in ensuring that the skin is healthy by helping in getting rid of toxins.
Water is essential for many body processes. It is recommended that one takes at least eight glasses of water daily. It helps in keeping the skin moist and soft. Taking water also helps in flushing out toxins from the body.
Avoid exposure to the sun
One may not really totally avoid exposure to the sun but they may wear a sunscreen to help in keeping away the UV rays which may cause skin cancer.
Use of cosmetics
One should use natural forms of cosmetics rather than the chemical forms which will irritate the skin. Also, ensure that you read the contents of the products before buying to ensure it does not contain any harmful contents.
